"The impact the Champions experience has had on my career is hard to quantify, as I use the sales training and experience as consistently today as I did when I was a new graduate in Mason Blake.
As a graduate at Mason Blake I was confident speaking and visiting high profile clients from day one and consistently won business, a process which usually takes new starters 6 - 18 months.
As a manager I know what to identify in employees and how to run and motivate a successful team.

Fantastic opportunity, for any students who want to learn entrepreneurial skills and challenge themselves. I participated in a similar summer internship (which was run by Al and Sam) it enabled me to meet similar like-minded people, grow exponentially by thinking outside the box, learning to control what I can control and excelling at sales whilst keeping a positive mental attitude.

Why work in a pub or in a coffee shop over Easter? VVV!

Working out in the field without a boss taught me how to be self-motivated and independent, both vital to running my own property business. I now have 4 properties in my portfolio.

I did an entrepreneurial internship learning from Al and Sam and it's made all the difference to my career: you know what to do when your co-workers struggle and success just sort of follows. It was like a business & cashflow bootcamp. And its a confidence buzz to know you can take the skills with you to whatever you really do want to do in life, and make it work. You get a practise run and on-job learning: this was the smartest career move I could have taken. Totally recommend it!

If you want to stand out from the thousands of graduates going for your dream job do this programme. Every interview I've ever got has been because of Champions. What's more the friends I made on this programme are some of the most successful people I know.

A suitably titled programme as being a Champion is for Life, once you have done this! The scheme has helped me to become who I am; hard work and a positive attitude really make the difference between making it and not making it, no matter who you are and what sphere of work you are interested in. The internship will provide great friends, a great laugh, great opportunities, tears and pain...but you cannot get anywhere, or appreciate the good things without a few tears and a bit of pain! Whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger!

I simply, would not have got the role I am in now if I hadn't have worked the 2 summers within the Champions program.  Resilience was the key attribute I learned, only the effort you put in leads to the rewards you desire. If I realised what those summers had to offer me, I would even have done it for free!

The friends I made, what I learned about myself, the whole experience, means I've never thought of ‘Champions’ as a job that I did. It was a landmark that I reap benefits from everyday of my life.
